Dusty Brown TCIKM 2010

Cover art for my good friend Dusty Brown’s album This City is Killing Me. Dusty has always been a great friend and a huge inspiration. He helped me get my start in music and design so any time I could be involved in one of his projects I was excited. His live performances are electric and he has a preternatural connection to his Moog Prodigy. I wanted to capture the kinetic energy of his stage presence with this composition based on an incredible photo by Raul Oretega (fig.1).

Side note: Dusty did all the flash programming for the original ISO50 portfolios. We worked together for years designing and developing flash websites.
