MK1 2015

Collage of photos I took on Mauna Kea, Hawaii, a dormant volcano standing nearly 14,000 ft. above the island of Hawaii. It’s such a beautifully desolate and alien landscape up there, also incredibly cold. It feels like walking on another planet and the sky is a very unique color of blue. It’s such an interesting juxtaposition to move out of the lush landscape of the surrounding area into such a harsh and unforgiving environment.
